The R-450C-01 broadband radio is a modern device designed to provide mobile broadband communication in battlefield conditions. It was developed for dynamic tactical structures that require reliable, encrypted, and interference-resistant communication, even in challenging electromagnetic and environmental conditions.

The R-450C-01 is intended for building wireless IPv4 packet networks operating in the 225–400 MHz frequency range. Its high operational flexibility and resistance to interference make it ideal for both local (LAN) and wide area (WAN) networks, including mobile and demanding environments.
The radio offers channel configuration with 100kHz accuracy, significantly enhancing network planning and scalability capabilities. Utilizing OFDM modulation (BPSK, QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM), the device automatically adjusts its transmission method to current propagation conditions, ensuring stable and efficient communication. Adjustable channel bandwidth (0.5–4 MHz) allows for optimized throughput and transmission parameters tailored to specific operational tasks.

The broadband radio is also available in the R-450C-01A variant.
This version is equipped with ST optical connector (RX/TX), and electric ethernet interface on M12 connector, enhancing its functionality and integration capabilities with multiple networks.
Key distinguishing features:
• ST (Straight Tip) connectors are popular bayonet-style fiber-optic interfaces that provide fast and stable connections.
• The additional electric ethernet interface enables redundant connectivity or integration with two separate networks — particularly useful in command containers or platforms with high security requirements.

The R-450C-01 radio is used in modern command, reconnaissance, and communication systems.
