RP-201-01 is an advanced military-grade networking platform designed for building modern, flexible, and secure IP networks in both field and stationary environments. Based on a virtual CISCO router, the device combines multiple network functions within a single, compact solution.
Operating on the Cisco software platform and available with the IOS system, RP-201-01 supports multiple license levels, allowing its configuration to be tailored to the needs of specific missions or customers.
The RP-201-01 can simultaneously function as:
- a router with both electrical and optical interfaces,
- a firewall with traffic control mechanisms,
- a Session Border Controller (SBC) for managing VoIP/SIP sessions,
- an access point for PMN (Field Mobile Network).
This Field Virtual Router is intended for use in tactical IP networks—both as a node within a distributed WAN infrastructure and as a local router in a field LAN network.
