MK-16BW01, BG-01 Computer module

The MK-16BW-01 computer module is a specialized device designed to integrate personal computers (e.g., IBM-PC class), local area networks, and other IT systems with digital communication infrastructure. The use of a standard RS-232C interface allows for direct connection of IT devices and the implementation of synchronous or asynchronous data transmission. 

 

The MK-16BW-01 can operate in MK-16A or MK-64 modes, providing configuration flexibility depending on system requirements. It supports automatic link establishment using Hayes standard commands, as well as manual setup and release of connections for devices that do not support this protocol. 

 

The module enables synchronous data transmission at speeds up to 64 kb/s and asynchronous transmission with block error correction. The transmission range depends on the selected operating mode and line parameters, reaching up to 5 km in MK-16A mode or up to 3 km in MK-64 mode. Its design allows for installation in standard 3U chassis with an 881096 system bus, facilitating easy integration in mobile and stationary communication systems.
